Frozen River

I didn't review this back when I saw it; writing from mid-2009, I can say that I truly thought that Melissa Leo had a shot at that Oscar. Not that I realistically thought she'd get it, but rather that this movie, and her performance, were SO GOOD that I was willing to let myself believe that for once, a movie this small had a chance.
