Man on Wire

The thing I found most remarkable about this film was not the elaborateness & audacity of the plan, nor the sheer death-defying terror of the stunt itself (it's a documentary, after all, so those things are not things of the film, really, so much as they are things of reality). What I found most remarkable was how much film these folks shot of the preparation, and of Pettit's other contemporaneous feats. In that they were ahead of their time.
And, yes, all the other stuff I mentioned is remarkable as well.
